Paul Pannick Ochtrup
Look, this stuff is Symphonic Death Metal at it's very best. The orchestration is more of a spice rather than the main course which allows the brutality to come violently through. SICK DRUMMING! The execution is peerless.
Favorite track: Resurrecting the Blood Gate.
I find Zornheym's distinctive brand of eccentric yet instantly gratifying symphonic black/death metal to be pretty much irresistible. So even though I originally picked up a CD copy of this album back when it came out, when I saw it going for such a low price on Bandcamp I couldn't help but grab myself a digital copy as well. Great stuff. ScoopMeister
